TÜV Rheinland Certificate

An approved product is for example a product that has passed certain tests performed by TÜV Rheinland Group in terms of quality and safety. TÜV issues a certificate of the test findings. Such document is a report or a certificate, which shows the specifications of the product and the norms, according to which the product is tested.
For the purchaser, this works very well while making a purchase decision. The purchaser is now not dependent on the details provided by the manufacturer only and can rely on an independent decision of a neutral expert.
Therefore, in tests of this type, more and more companies rely on TÜV Rheinland Group. Their main customers include manufacturers from 75 countries. The product range is practically unlimited and extends from toys and sports materials to IT (information technology) equipment and complex industrial facilities.
TÜV Rheinland Group first tests a representative product sample based on proper criteria. As a rule, such tests take place at TÜV test labs. In exceptional cases such as a huge machine, the experts test the product at the manufacturer's facilities.
In order not to base the certificate on a single test performed on a sample, TÜV employees continue to inspect the manufacturer's facilities by regular intervals and to check and certify the conformity of the product to the tested sample. In this manner, the conformity certificate is given a permanent nature.
